Company Controller Recognized by Music City Business Community
Nashville, Tenn. – Celero Commerce Vice President, Controller, Elizabeth Green will receive a 2022 CFO Award from Nashville Business Journal.
The 2022 CFO Awards recognize individuals like Elizabeth who have helped their companies to maintain strong financial footing in the past year. Elizabeth, who joined Celero in late 2020, will receive the award on Oct. 26 at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville.
Elizabeth is an experienced financial manager who has a history of serving companies in the retail, consumer products, technology and manufacturing industries. Celero is an industry leader in bundled financial technology and payment solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses.
“I appreciate the honor, but it’s not hard to keep a company like Celero on track financially,” Elizabeth said. “Celero has always focused on sustainable growth combined with its mission to bring cutting-edge, customizable fintech solutions to its customers.”
Nashville Business Journal asked the public to nominate potential honorees. Nashville Business Journal is a media company providing coverage of local business communities and breaking news to more than 320,000 readers each week.
The journal asked nominees to answer questions about how they kept their company’s finances in the black and about their accomplishments during the past year. An independent panel of judges scored the responses to create this year’s list of honorees.
Celero Chief Executive Officer Kevin Jones said Elizabeth deserved the award for her hard work and accomplishments over the past year.
“Elizabeth brings strong industry knowledge, experience, and a great attitude to her job,” Jones said. “I am pleased to have others recognize her skills and achievements.”
