For Q2 2025, we are proud to recognize Damaris Cruz, Maintenance Team Lead, as our Rising Star Award recipient. Damaris stepped into her leadership role in July 2024 and has made an extraordinary impact in less than a year. Her dedication, skill, and positivity have set her apart as someone who embodies Celero’s values every single day.

From the moment Damaris accepted her promotion, she made it clear that her leadership style would be rooted in action, encouragement, and accountability. Her team immediately felt the difference. Whether she’s coordinating complex processes, mentoring new team members, or jumping in hands-on to get the job done, she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure success.
Her colleagues describe her as a leader who not only sets high standards, but also equips her team with the tools and confidence to meet them. She doesn’t hesitate to stay late when needed, provide one-on-one coaching until a process feels second nature, or roll up her sleeves to lend a helping hand. This balance of high expectations and genuine care is what makes her leadership so effective and inspiring.

Her work ethic is unmatched and her care for her team is unwavering.
