Announcing the Q4 2024 Duffy Award Winner: Julie Doué!

We are thrilled to announce Julie Doué, Operations Coordinator, as the Q4 2024 Duffy Award winner. At Celero, the Duffy Award is a quarterly recognition of individuals who embody our core values and demonstrate exceptional leadership.

Julie’s journey with SONA since 2019 has shown unwavering commitment and remarkable growth. From her early days in boarding and admin to marketing, and now as a vital member of our leadership team, Julie has consistently exemplified our ‘WHY’ and led by example.

“Julie continuously plays a key role in our success and is a true leader among everyone here at the office,” said Kristin O’Leary, SONA’s Chief Operating Officer. “Her can-do attitude and positivity when things get tough are also contagious, and this helps our organization continue to keep going even through challenging times.”

Julie’s initiative and passion for positive change are evident in her creation and leadership of SONA School in 2022, a key tool we still utilize today. Her accomplishments also include developing a monthly team newsletter, which has evolved into a quarterly partner newsletter, keeping our bank and channel partners informed.

“In my experience, Julie takes initiative and has the drive and passion to execute on making positive changes that impact our business and strategy,” said Tim Stahl, Celero’s Chief Operating Officer. “I am excited to watch her professional growth while continuing to be a culture carrier and being an integral part of our Canadian expansion efforts.”

Her problem-solving skills are exceptional, whether it’s optimizing our CRM, advocating for merchants with suppliers, or organizing monthly leadership presentations. Julie’s ability to find solutions, even in complex situations, is truly commendable.

Julie consistently exceeds expectations, delivering high-quality work and balancing the needs of merchants, agents, staff, and partners. Her dedication to collaboration and support is evident in her interactions with colleagues and her responsiveness to agent escalations.

“Julie exceeds expectations quite regularly. She consistently produces high-quality work, so much so that I can’t remember the last time this wasn’t achieved,” said O’Leary. “She is there to support her team members in the office 100% of the time, even though her to-do list grows by the minute.”

Julie’s strong work ethic, commitment to excellence, and dedication to providing the best outcomes for our team, agents, partners, and merchants make her a top performer and a deserving recipient of the Q4 2024 Duffy Award.

Please join us in congratulating Julie Doué on this well-deserved recognition!
