The Duffy Award is the highest accolade at Celero Commerce. Every quarter, the executive team names a winner who exemplifies Michael P. Duffy’s legacy of servant leadership, elite performance, and respect. The Super Duffy, which is awarded just once per year, is a special distinction given to someone who has exemplified the Duffy Award values throughout the entire year. This award is reserved for the best of the best, not only at Celero but in the fintech industry as a whole.
We are thrilled to announce the recipient of the 2022 Super Duffy Award, Ben Hillard.
“Ben has made an impact on Celero from the day he started with us back in 2021,” said Imran Khan, Director of Infrastructure.
As an IT Support Team Lead, Ben has led the operations of our internal helpdesk team. No matter how problems arise in the workplace, Ben acts quickly to resolve issues and identify creative solutions. He does the best of his ability to support Celero’s infrastructure, on-premise systems, and our users. Although Ben’s leadership and problem-solving skills are first-class, the personal impact he leaves on everyone he meets is unmatched.
Ben is relentlessly positive, endlessly patient, and always eager to help others. He exudes empathy and kindness to every employee and client he works with. When you get to spend time with Ben, you realize how much of a joy he is to have around.
“In support roles, you often encounter people not at their best – frustrated by a problem or unsure how to proceed,” continued Khan. “However, Ben takes every challenge head-on and never fears failure. When he addresses an issue with a co-worker or client, he works side by side with them to reach a resolution and ensures that everyone is learning throughout the process.”
This prestigious award is meant for individuals who seek knowledge, maintain a driven mindset, and encourage others around them. Ben owns these qualities every single day, and we are thankful for his example.
We will be inviting Ben to our Annual Leadership Summit in Nashville this spring to celebrate his accomplishments alongside the other Duffy Award winners from 2022.
