During more than 20 years as a fintech executive, Kevin Jones has created customer-centered cultures, driving diverse teams to consistent year-over-year revenue increases, operational fitness, strong profitability, and shareholder return.
As founder and CEO of Celero Commerce, Kevin is building an organization that blends payments and software technologies into an easy-to-consume bundle of products and services aimed at helping small and mid-sized businesses compete and win in a complex marketplace. Celero, currently the 16th-largest non-bank payments processor in the country, serves more than 25,000 American businesses through strategic partnerships, direct-to-merchant strategies, integrated distribution channels, and software-as-a-service solutions for over 60 verticals.
Since the company’s founding in late 2018, Jones and the leadership team at Celero have completed four acquisitions, as they focus on building the country’s premier platform of high-tech, high-touch payments solutions that help businesses thrive.
Kevin began his payments & technology career at industry giant Chase Paymentech, achieving record sales for his national division. He followed up on this success by reviving the strategic partner channel at First American Payment Systems, as well as a successful stint as President of SignaPay, where he ultimately achieved five-fold growth in adjusted EBITDA. Kevin most recently achieved a successful exit at Anovia Payments, guiding this startup to a valuation of 14x EBITDA and 8.5x initial seed investment, with organic acquisition of more than 10,000 customers in a four-year period.
The current President and Chairman of the Electronic Transactions Association, Kevin is both a thought leader and passionate advocate known for his ability to galvanize teams around issues affecting the industry and companies within it. Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and three children.
