A Comprehensive Payment Solution for Pike13 & School of Rock
OVERVIEW
Pike13, an integrated partner, was on a mission to support School of Rock (SOR), a leading music education franchise, in their transition away from NetSuite for their ERP needs. Their aim was to retain NetSuite solely for billing purposes, creating a unique opportunity for Celero Commerce to step in with a tailored solution.
The Challenge
Pike13 was tasked with the challenging feat of creating a single gateway integration capable of supporting an infinite number of unique Merchant IDs (MIDs) from a single administrative instance. Pike13 also sought an automated, turnkey merchant application process, a one-to-many signup link, and sales support for both MIDs and Pike13’s own marketing-generated leads.
To further complicate matters, Pike13 was looking to avoid using Stripe due to its economic limitations, lack of card-present solutions, and other constraints. They needed a solution that could provide both surcharging and dual pricing options to clients while supporting an infinite number of unique MIDs.

The Solution
Celero stepped up to the challenge with an innovative, multifaceted solution. The Celero Connect and Pi Gateway provided payment processing to SOR via NetSuite, a vital element that helped Pike13 secure the SOR contract.
Additionally, Celero offered an automated application boarding link for merchant sign-ups, easing Pike13’s development and support burdens. Celero also provided ACH services, Canadian CNP processing, professional services, consulting, and relationship management, all while facilitating Pike13’s sales engine for SaaS licenses and merchant accounts.
When SOR decided to migrate billing away from NetSuite, Celero was able to transfer all historic encrypted card records to Pike13, saving considerable time and avoiding the hurdles associated with a complete migration.
The Results
Through Celero’s comprehensive solution, Pike13 generated a significant revenue stream, diversified across nearly 1000 MIDs. Pike13 was also able to win new business, retain over 300 customers, and expand to the Canadian and EU markets due to Celero’s processor support.
Furthermore, Celero successfully staved off numerous competitors who claimed to offer programs to compete but ultimately could not execute as Celero has proven it can, ultimately saving its partners, an estimated 150bps premium charged by competing programs and, over 100 hours of additional customization work, and revenue losses for our partners
By leveraging Celero’s integrated gateway API, SOR transitioned smoothly to support compliant card-not-present surcharging, saved approximately 30bps over competing offers, and reduced Pike13’s development time significantly.
In the end, Celeros integrated solutions became a key component in Pike13’s strategic growth, aiding in navigating significant business changes and challenges while providing valuable insights, innovation, and reliable support throughout the partnership.

The Celero team has been an outstanding resource for us on all things payment-related and have helped us figure out right-size solutions for our customers as new payment options come to market.”
