Celero Commerce is excited to announce it is now the preferred payments partner of the National Hockey League’s Nashville Predators.
The arrangement partners the Nashville-headquartered technology firm with its hometown hockey team with Celero providing payment processing services to the Predators. Celero provides electronic transaction processing to community and regional banks nationwide and serves over 50,000 merchants across the country, processing approximately $20 billion in annual card volume.

Predators Chief Financial Officer Keith Hegger expressed his enthusiasm about the relationship.

The Nashville Predators became the National Hockey League’s 27th team on May 4, 1998, and have evolved from a young expansion franchise into a staple of the Middle Tennessee community.
The team has had several on-ice successes in the past few years, including qualifying for the Stanley Cup Playoffs eight straight times, a trip to the Stanley Cup Final in 2017, the Presidents’ Trophy in 2017-18, and a Central Division title in 2018-19. Off the ice, in 2020 alone, the team drove about $5.5 million to relief efforts, non-profit organizations, and individuals in need.
